This is not really an anime soundtrack we’ll focus on today, but a video game soundtrack for the “Blood the last vampire” (2001) playstation game.
It must be Yuki Kajiura’s third video game project (out of the 5 we know so far, including the famous “Xenosaga” episodes).

1. Saya: Uncanny voices echoing in a rather rhythmic tune. My fave moments are the soprano voices… It’s really ghost-like.

2. Touko: Same here, you hear from afar the uncanny soprano voice. It’s really beautiful along with the piano solo.

3. In the church: Like always the soprano chants really amaze me, it fits so well with this crazy electro beats sound.

4. Runnin’ away: Dark and modern. Love this track.

5. Ruria: Piano track.

6. Ashita no Boshu: It’s not a Kajiura track but a Hideya Nakazaki sung by Yuki Koudo. I love the texture of her voice. I think it’s sensual… “Destiny…”
