Today we’ll talk about the “Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED~SEED DESTINY THE BRIDGE” (Across the Songs from GUNDAM SEED & SEED DESTINY) soundtrack which is a compilation between tracks from both Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny (the sequel of the anime)

And since I am Kajiura-centric, I will focus on the tracks signed by Yuki only.

This compilation released on 2006 is a 2-cd soundtrack with a total of 24 tracks. I feel bad putting on this website 9 of the 10 (11, but there is twice the same song) tracks Master Kajiura composed in this compilation.
But if any officials ask me to remove it, I’ll comply with it, or I’ll offer myself for a date with Kajiura as a compensation…But I doubt it’ll work… (One can dream)

Anyway, I can just advise all of you guys to get all the Yuki Kajiura composed soundtracks.

So as I mentioned before, there is one track sung by a guy (”Shoot”)… Which is a premiere since Yuki Kajiura often composes for ladies, and she’s right, because it perfectly fits her sensitivity.

And as a bonus track for this blog, I will put the “The Song” track played by the London Symphony Orchestra, excerpt taken from the “Symphony Seed” soundtrack by Toshihiko Sahashi.

All the tracks sung by “See Saw” and “FictionJunction” are first on this playlist. The other vocalists will be right after:

1. Anna ni Issho Datta no ni: Kajiura’s former band See-Saw. “Anna ni Issho Datta no ni” is the first Ending song of the “Gundam Seed” anime (Phase 01 to 26). It was a big success in 2002, reaching #5 on the Oricon right after the first airing.

2. Kimi wa Boku ni Niteiru: Another See Saw track by Kajiura. It was the 4th “Gundam Seed Destiny” ending (2005).

3. Akatsuki No Kuruma (piano version): Sung by FictionJunction YUUKA, Yuki Kajiura’s personal project “band”. It’s one of the “Gundam Seed” insert song. A video here if you’re curious.

4. Honoo no Tobira: Another FictionJunction Yuuka (Yuuka Nanri) performance with the “Gundam Seed Destiny” insert song “Honoo no Tobira” (2005)

5. Life goes on: by Yuki Kajiura, sung by Mika Arisaka, it’s the 2nd “Gundam Seed Destiny” song (2005), the chorus sounds a bit like “Romanesque” .

6. Shizuka na yoru ni: Sung by Rie Tanaka, singer and seiyuu. It’s a “Gundam Seed” Insert Song

7. Mizu no Akashi: Sung by Rie Tanaka again, it’s again a “Gundam Seed Destiny” insert song.

8. Fields of Hope: Sung by Rie Tanaka, a “Gundam Seed Destiny” insert song.

9. Shinkai no Kodoku: Sung by Houko Kuwashima, a “Gundam Seed Destiny” insert song.

10. Shoot: Sung by Seiyuu Tomokazu Seki, that would be the male “Gundam Seed” insert song I mentioned earlier.
