I should rename that blog the diary of a frustrated girl since I only write on it when I see or meet cute girls that I cannot have.
I went to Lamma island today, one of the many islands surrounding the island of Hong Kong. And I saw some nice keychains outside of a shop.
I love cute japanese-like keychains but I usually never buy those, since it’s too girlish for me. My current keychain is a heavy metallic Madonna keychain. (it doesnt sound better but in fact it doesn’t look so bad)
Plus I didn’t want to get into the shop seeing that there was some Christian leaflets being displayed outside of it. Coming from France, it’s very shocking for me to see any blatant display of religion.
But in the end, I decided to buy it. And went into the shop to pay.
Of course, I didn’t expect to find a beautiful girl at the counter… (really really beautiful). In fact, this shop was an organic-product shop. And of course everything interested me… Especially the girl.
But I was so surprised and charmed right away that I found myself mute. I Couldn’t say anything intelligible to start a conversation although she gave me a chance to think as she asked me keep any eye on her shop while she went outside to get some change for me.
It’s crazy how my brain can go all crazy and especially empty when I need it the most. She thanked me for looking after her shop with a huge smile, and all I could do was to blush had and look down (although I was behind my sunglasses) and reply “it’s normal”…
Argh… There were so many things to say to start a conversation…
First, she was on the internet, on MSN I think… Secondly, what a beautiful girl like her was doing in an all organic shop?… Thirdly, it was 2pm and she was eating a bowl of oatmeal only…
I could have mentioned any of those three topics and I saw she was good in English and wasn’t shy like the usual HK girls.
Gosh.
It was like in a movie, all the time she was talking to me, when she tried to find out how to give me the change, I was looking at her and it was like it was on slow motion.
I could only see her lips move and couldn’t hear anything. All I said was: “hmmmm”…
She was so fresh and natural, so different from the usual HK girls dressed in a too fashion-like way, too sophisticated, too much for me.
Anyway…
PS: I took a photo of the keychain but I’m too lazy to post it…
PS2: I have just changed the title of this post from The diary of a frustrated girl to Blah blah because I keep on receive spam comments on it.
I m testing the new title…
