How to make TV better?
That s what the LG team is trying to do, and is calling upon ideas.
Since I have one idea, that totally applies to myself, I decided to share it.
Please vote for me
this is my idea:
Lost with so many tv programs? what about a TV that would propose programs, according to your taste?
1/ Each tv broadcast is originally tagged with keywords
2/ Key in your fave keywords per user (cooking, fashion, Justin Timberlake…) and give them priorities.
3/a/ If you do not know what to watch, press the TAG suggestion key, that would propose you different broadcasts according to your main favorite keywords.
3/b/ If you are already watching a program, you can also set the function to “live suggestion” that would prompt on your screen everytime a program corresponding to your keywords would be aired.
this tag program would enhance your tv experience and make it more intuitive and tailor made.
This tagging system can be applied to tv commercials. What about really watching the tv commercials you are really interested in?
For companies, it is a great opportunity to reach with their ads the right consumer with the right info at the right time.

Done. Though for me, that would just increase (exponentially) the amount of TV I watch. But for days where there’s nothing on, it could work well.
