Tarantino and I

It’s funny but I felt that Tarantino did illustrate my twisted fantasy in his 3 latest movies.
(I only mention the 3 latest ones because -sorry for the fans- I couldnt quite remember the stories of the Reservoir dogs or Pulp fiction ones… And I failed to watch Jackie Brown)
It really was clear to me when the lights turned back in the theater after the end of “Death proof” (2007). Tarantino was actually doing what I always wanted to do when bastards piss me off, meaning being as psychotic as them and turn out to be the hunter instead of the prey.
I have weird thoughts, but sometimes I think What if a psycho killer comes after me, what if I turned out to be more psycho and go after him? It’d be awesome to unleash my rage on this psycho bastard his way!!
Well it was kind of the story in Death Proof. And gosh, it made me feel good… It made me feel GIRL POWA! It made me feel in control and satisfied!
Of course, before in 2003-4 I also watched the Kill Bill volumes. And I really identify to that thirst of revenge, when you have nothing to lose and only have one thing in mind, REVENGE. Because only revenge can make you feel better, no matter what it costs.
I do realize I sound like a psycho girl when I write something like that. = =”
Anyway, this August 21st 2009, this “Inglourious Basterds” movie starring Brad Pitt will make me feel satisfied again.
I love WWII movies, well especially when it deals with Nazis. I didnt watch it all, but when I watched “Schindler’s list”, “The Pianist”, “Hitler”, “Valkyrie” and so on… it couldn’t let my mind in peace, and all I had in my mind was What if if we could do the same to those mother fucker of nazis and make them feel what fear and pain is.
Tarantino, will again satisfy my fantasy and I’m eager to watch that happen. Brad Pitt being an extra bonus (thank you Quentin!!!).
