So as planned, after work I rushed to the nearest HMV.
I was looking for the limited edition Candy box but it’s not available here in HK… I have to say that the cover leaflet artwork is worse and worse. The leaflet maybe reflects the album. It’s a bit shallow and simple.
Not only did I buy the Album but also all the related magazines, two ELLE, Vanity Fair, Q…
But I also bought the second Volume of Rarities and B Sides by Sarah McLachlan… And the latest YUI,”I loved yesterday” I even got the poster. And there is even an extra DVD.
I’m listening to the album right now and it’s totally not my style of music so far. I hate the first track, “Candy Shop”.
Some are ok like “Miles Away” but there are still too much beats for me.
I like beats, but not when it’s mixed with pop music. Whatever.
It’s Madonna, so I listen to it in priority, next will be Sarah, and the YUI, I already know the album so I’ll have a look at the DVD. She’s so kawaii.
PS: I’m reading Q, and Madonna said that her two fave tracks are “Candy Shop” and “Devil wouldn’t recognize you”. I would have more the same tastes than her kids.
Lourdes likes “Candy shop” (except for this one) and “Miles Away” and Rocco is into “4 minutes”.
